BC Tiling Ltd was created in 1977 when Barron and Clark ltd was split into two seperate companies after a dispute between the joint owners.  Barron and Clark had built a glowing reputation for quality and service since being formed in the 1950's by George Barron and Frank  Clark.

 

When the company split George Barron decided to take over the Slating and Tiling side of the business as this was his specialised trade. Alongside George was his son David who worked for the company from leaving school and worked his way up from Trainee to Manager.

 

George Barron retired soon after the formation of BC Tiling Ltd and David took over as Managing Director and built the company into one of the major contractors in the Private Housebuilding sector, regularly roofing over 1000 homes per year. 

 

In 1983 and 1985 respectively David sons Neil and Ian started working for the company, both

serving their time on the tools before eventually moving into the office. In 2007 David retired handing joint control to his sons.

 

Despite the recent recession trading has remained strong , based mainly on our reputation for being able to deliver jobs on time and to the highest standards achievable.
